Great Events Cascais 2018

Jorge Paulo Pereira was honoured with the “Organiser of the Year" Award for his effort and quality in the organisation of IRONMAN 70.3 Portugal - Cascais. This distinction took place in the event "Festa do Triatlo e a Gala Fé no Triatlo", on the 2nd December in Sines, where FTP (Triathlon Federation of Portugal) recognised the merit of athletes and entities that honoured Triathlon in 2017 season, contributing to the growth of the modality.

During the ceremony was also stressed some of the key factors that called attention to the IRONMAN 70.3 Portugal - Cascais event: the record number of participants, the great impact on the local economy and the fact that it was the race under IRONMAN brand with the highest participation ever in a first event, highlighting Portugal as a destination of excellence for the sport.
